Why is it that I need to yell what drink I want into the drive-thru microphone at the top of my lungs @ the SB McDonalds to them DIET sounds like SPRITE. Next time I am spelling the word out! I don't know if it's ignorance or if their headsets just sucks..it's just so freakin' frustrating.

Rainy Day Musings

Sure as hell sucks getting old.
Getting out of bed, my chair at work, anywhere I've parked it too long boy has my body let me know.
I remember hearing this from various family members as a kid and giggling to myself they are so old, that will never be me. Yea, that worked out real well.
I guess I'll mosey on over to Acme and pick me up a bottle of Aleve at lunchtime...lol

UPDATE: I have since got my hands on a bottle Rx of Celebrex, a drug I haven't heard nor seen on TV commercial in years and it seems to have worked a little.

This place probably serves the best Veal Parm I have eaten. My husband and I love coming here. We saw it on Diners, Drive-ins & Dives - where we get a lot of our foodie road trip ideas. Great ambiance, waiters right on the ball ~ Being Italian myself you can imagine I'm fussy as hell about my eateries.

They now apparently have a vegan menu for the non meat eaters. One of my good friends practices that lifestyle and we look forward to taking her and her BF there soon.

It's on the small side but the service is amazing and hey, they even shot a Sopranos episode here. Remember when Tony crashed the dude down on the bar rail because he said something inappropriate to Meadow when she was eating?

There is even some secret Prohibition history from way back when that went on in here. Great place...can't wait to go again!
